MONGOLIAN BADMINTON ENTHUSIASTS ASSOCIATION DONATES BADMINTON EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES
The Mongolian Badminton Enthusiasts Association (MBEA) held a meeting with faculty members and students of the School of Physical Education under the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) to discuss further cooperation and the continued development of badminton within the university’s academic curriculum. The meeting was attended by O. Bold-Erdene, Director of the School of Physical Education; L. Narantuya, Head of the Department of Sports Games and Honored Athlete of Mongolia; Dr. B. Narmandakh (Ph.D.), Head of the Department of Sports Theory and Methodology; Kh. Bakytzhan, lecturer at the Department of Sports Theory and Methodology; as well as representatives of the Board of Directors of MBEA. During the meeting, the participants exchanged views on opportunities to further develop badminton within the academic environment and discussed areas for future cooperation between the two organizations. Badminton was introduced as a new course in the School of Physical Education’s curriculum during the previous academic year. This academic year, more than 100 students have chosen to enroll in the course, reflecting growing interest in the sport. In this context, the two sides discussed ways to further develop badminton within the university environment, expand opportunities for students to participate in the sport, improve the quality and accessibility of badminton instruction, and strengthen future cooperation. During the meeting, MBEA Board Members B. Batkhishig and M. Zolzaya presented the School of Physical Education with badminton equipment, supplies, and instructional materials provided by the Association to support the implementation and development of the badminton program. Looking ahead, MBEA and the School of Physical Education of MNUE agreed to expand their cooperation in promoting badminton across universities and higher education institutions, encouraging greater participation in sports among young people, developing the skills of student-athletes, and supporting their future athletic achievements
