MNUE, SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND MONGOLIAN WALKING ASSOCIATION SIGN MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

MONGOLIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION’S SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND MONGOLIAN WALKING ASSOCIATION SIGN MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

The School of Physical Education of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) and the Mongolian Walking Association signed a Memorandum of Cooperation today, marking the beginning of a partnership aimed at promoting sport for all, walking education, and healthy lifestyles.

The cooperation is based on the principles of voluntary participation, mutual benefit, openness, and sustainable development, with a focus on integrating education, academic research, and community-based activities.

Under the Memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the following areas:

  • Promote knowledge and understanding of walking theory and methodology, as well as physical activity and sport for all;

  • Conduct joint academic and research activities in the fields of walking, physical activity, health, and physical education;

  • Jointly organize programs and events and enhance their impact through the effective sharing of available resources;

  • Improve the skills and professional capacities of students, faculty members, staff, and walking practitioners through domestic and international internships and experience-sharing programs;

  • Jointly organize short- and long-term training programs for walking coaches, instructors, and judges;

  • Integrate student internships and volunteer activities with walking events, competitions, and community programs;

  • Organize awareness campaigns and public events aimed at preventing physical inactivity and promoting sport for all and public health;

  • Jointly develop digital learning content, manuals, and research databases;

  • Explore opportunities to implement joint projects and programs in cooperation with international organizations and associations;

  • Organize forums, seminars, and academic conferences in the fields of sports management, methodology, research, and innovation.

The Memorandum also provides for the mutual exchange of knowledge, experience, and methodological support generated through the partnership, as well as the active participation of both parties in joint activities.

The Memorandum was signed by Dr. (Ph.D.) O. Bold-Erdene, Director of the School of Physical Education at MNUE, and B. Bolor-Erdene, President of the Mongolian Walking Association, officially establishing the partnership between the two organizations.

The cooperation between the two organizations is expected to play an important role in connecting university education and research with practical walking activities, developing qualified human resources, increasing student participation, and promoting walking, active living, and healthy lifestyles among the wider public.
