🇲🇳 Mongolian Athletes Shine at the “Korea Athletics Open 2026” in South Korea

Mongolian track and field athletes are delivering impressive performances at the “Korea Athletics Open 2026”, currently being held in Yecheon, Republic of Korea.

🥇 D. Myagmarsuren, an athlete from the Aldar Sports Committee and a graduate of the School of Physical Education at the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE), won the gold medal in the men’s 1,500 meters with a time of 3:53.65.

Meanwhile, S. Batzorig, also representing the Aldar Sports Committee, a first-year student at the School of Physical Education of MNUE, and the holder of Mongolia’s U20 national record in the 400 meters, finished in fifth place in the men’s 400 meters with a time of 49.78 seconds.

The Mongolian team is competing under the guidance of Kh. Uyanga, coach of the Aldar Sports Committee, and D. Narmandakh, Head of the Department of Sports Management and Olympic Studies and a lecturer at the School of Physical Education, MNUE.
