Students of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) achieved outstanding success at the FISU World University Cheerleading Championships 2026, bringing home a historic gold medal for Mongolia.
The FISU World University Cheerleading Championships 2026, organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), was held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 5–7, 2026. The championship, held every two years, brought together university athletes from 16 countries to compete at the highest level of collegiate cheerleading.
Representing Mongolia as members of the Mongolian University National Team, G. Enkhbayasgalan, a second-year student, and E. Anudari, a first-year student of the School of Physical Education and Sports of the Mongolian National University of Education, demonstrated exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination to secure the Gold Medal for Mongolia.
The championship was organized under the regulations of the International Cheer Union (ICU) and jointly hosted by FISU, the Swedish University Sports Federation, and the Swedish Cheerleading Federation. The event showcased some of the world's most talented university cheerleaders, highlighting excellence in athletic performance, creativity, and team spirit.
This remarkable achievement represents a significant milestone for Mongolian university sports and reflects the continuous development of cheerleading in Mongolia. Through their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, the Mongolian University National Team proudly raised the national flag on the international stage and brought honor to their country.
