MONGOLIAN STUDENT SPORTS VII FESTIVAL CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY; MNU RANKS THIRD OVERALL
The closing ceremony of the Mongolian Student Sports VII Festival officially commenced at Tumen Ekh Ensemble.
Organized every two years under a resolution of the Government of Mongolia, this prestigious festival successfully concluded after determining the champions in 14 summer sports and 1 winter sport discipline.
During the festival, nearly 10,000 student-athletes from universities and higher education institutions across the country competed over the course of two months, demonstrating their athletic skills, strength, endurance, and teamwork. The event served as an important platform for the development of student sports and inter-university cooperation.
Athletes from the Mongolian National University of Education, under the leadership of Rector J. Batbaatar, achieved outstanding success across multiple sports disciplines and secured third place overall in the team standings
MNU athletes earned impressive results in athletics, judo, freestyle wrestling, futsal, handball, and sport hiking, winning numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals throughout the competition.
The Student Sports Festival plays a vital role in developing young athletes, strengthening cooperation among universities, and preparing future national team representatives. This year’s festival once again highlighted the growing level of university sports in Mongolia.
