MNUE STUDENTS WIN OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP AT THE “GRAND TOUR-2026” NATIONAL TOURISM OLYMPIAD

The spring competitions of the “GRAND TOUR-2026” 24th National Tourism Olympiad, aimed at enhancing the knowledge, professional skills, and creativity of tourism students, concluded successfully. More than 300 students from 19 universities and higher education institutions across Mongolia participated in this year’s Olympiad, competing in various fields including tourism theory, practical skills, innovation, and creative content development.

Students from the Sports Tourism program of the School of Physical Education at the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) achieved outstanding results and became the overall champions based on the team aggregate score.

The students earned the following awards:

First Place in the “Tourism INFOGRAPHIC” content creation competition
Third Place in the “Cesim Service” business simulation competition
Third Place in the “Centaur” professional knowledge and skills competition

These achievements reflect not only the students’ professional competence, creativity, and teamwork, but also the quality of education, academic guidance, and training environment provided by MNUE in the field of sports tourism and tourism education.

The “GRAND TOUR” National Olympiad is one of the leading annual events dedicated to developing future professionals in the tourism industry, strengthening collaboration within the sector, and improving students’ competitiveness and practical capabilities.
