MNUE STUDENT ATHLETES SUCCESSFULLY COMPETE AT THE ASIAN BEACH GAMES
Student-athletes of the Mongolian National University of Education are successfully competing at the 6th Asian Beach Games currently being held in Sanya, People’s Republic of China.
A total of 11 student-athletes and 5 teachers/coaches from MNUE are participating as part of Mongolia’s national team, competing in 4 sports disciplines. Overall, Mongolia is represented by 55 athletes across 8 sports, and as of today, the team has won 2 bronze medals, ranking 11th overall.
In jiu-jitsu, MNUE is represented by a team of 8 student-athletes led by O.Bold-Erdene, including M.Khuslen, G.Mongoljing, E.Shurentsetseg, B.Narankhishig, G.Battsetseg, B.Bayartulga, Ch.Tuvdentarvaa, and B.Shinezorigt.
From this discipline, G.Mongoljin (women’s -52 kg) and E.Shurentsetseg (women’s -57 kg), both students of the School of Physical Education, won bronze medals, contributing significantly to Mongolia’s medal tally.
In athletics, B.Suvd-Erdene placed 11th in the women’s long jump with a result of 5.07 meters. In teqball, athletes N.Tsetsenberkh and B.Myagmarsuren, coached by Ch.Amrasanaa, made their debut and performed successfully.
In beach handball, MNUE lecturer A.Bat-Ochir served as a coach, while S.Gantsetseg worked as the team journalist. Additionally, in jiu-jitsu, international referee T.Munkh officiated at the Games.
MNUE student-athletes have proudly represented Mongolia on the international stage, achieving commendable results and bringing honor to their country.
