STATE-OWNED UNIVERSITIES’ SPORTS FESTIVAL SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

The “Sports Festival,” traditionally organized among state-owned universities, was successfully held on April 18–19, 2026, featuring competitions in basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and darts. This year’s event was organized by the School of Physical Education of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE), with M Bank serving as the official sponsor.The opening ceremony took place at the School of Physical Education of MNUE and was attended by rectors, athletes, and representatives from participating institutions, including the National University of Mongolia (NUM), Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), University of Internal Affairs (UIA), National University of Defense (NUD), Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture (MSUAC), Mongolian University of Life Sciences (MULS), and MNUE, along with representatives of the sponsoring organization.

During the opening ceremony, a friendly competition among university rectors was organized, while talented students from MNUE’s School of Physical Education presented engaging artistic and sports performances, adding vibrancy to the event.

This sports festival played a significant role in improving workplace atmosphere among faculty and staff, strengthening mutual understanding and collaboration, and promoting physical and mental well-being, work productivity, healthy lifestyles, leadership, and teamwork. It also contributed to enhancing institutional reputation, expanding professional networks, and facilitating experience sharing. Furthermore, the event supported stronger cooperation among educational institutions, increased faculty engagement, and promoted a positive culture through sports.
