
A meeting was held today through the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC) with Professor Kim Juyoung, a representative of Yong In University of the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the field of sports education and development.
Originally established in 1953 as a judo-focused institution, Yong In University has grown into one of the leading universities in South Korea specializing in sports and martial arts. The university offers professional training in disciplines such as judo, taekwondo, hapkido, Yongmudo, as well as sports science programs.
Yong In University has a strong track record of producing numerous Olympic and world-class athletes, significantly contributing to South Korea’s success in international sports. Today, the university continues to train students and athletes through a wide range of sports teams, clubs, and high-performance programs designed to compete at the global level.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation, including:
Implementing joint programs in sports education
Expanding student and athlete exchange opportunities
Sharing expertise among coaches and sports professionals
Organizing joint training camps in martial arts and Olympic sports
