New Sports Management Program to Train Future Professionals in Mongolia
A new program aimed at training future professionals in sports management is set to be launched in Mongolia for the first time. This tripartite initiative brings together sports organizations across the country, the School of Physical Education at Mongolian National University of Education, and the SPOC Academy under the Mongolian Sports Corporation.
The primary objective of the program is to meet the growing demand for qualified human resources in sports federations, clubs, and sports business organizations. It seeks to develop a new generation of sports managers equipped with modern knowledge, professional skills, and the ability to compete on an international level.
The program will offer a bachelor’s degree in sports management, combining academic study with practical, real-world experience. Students will have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in professional sports environments, ensuring well-rounded and industry-relevant training.
The program is scheduled to officially commence with the fall intake of the 2026–2027 academic year at the School of Physical Education of the Mongolian National University of Education.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward systematically developing sports management education in Mongolia and strengthening the link between the education sector and the sports industry. It is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the long-term development of Mongolia’s sports sector.
