MNUE REPRESENTATIVES PARTICIPATE IN THE AEROBIC GYMNASTICS JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SPAIN

Representatives of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) successfully participated in the 2nd FIG Aerobic Gymnastics Junior World Championships and 12th World Age Group Competitions, held at Navarra Arena in Pamplona, Spain, from 4 to 6 September 2026.

The prestigious international event, organized under the auspices of World Gymnastics, brought together more than 630 young gymnasts representing 42 national federations, providing an important platform for the world’s leading young aerobic gymnasts to demonstrate their skills and compete at the highest level.

Mongolia was represented by athletes from the GAINER Aerobic Gymnastics Club of the School of Physical Education at MNUE and Shine-Unuudur School.

In the Youth (12–14) category, GAINER Club athletes E. Dulguuntamir and B. Tsolmon represented Mongolia. In the Junior (15–17) category, GAINER Club athletes A. Chinguun, E. Telmuun, B. Dolgion, G. Ariungerel, and T. Egshiglen, together with N. Ganchimeg, B. Oyunbolor, and E. Enkhgerel of Shine-Unuudur School, competed as members of the Mongolian delegation.

The athletes represented Mongolia in several disciplines, including Individual Women, Individual Men, Mixed Pair, Group, and Aerobic Step, gaining valuable experience while competing alongside talented young gymnasts from around the world.

MNUE was also represented among the competition officials and coaching staff. Dr. B. Bat-Otgon (Ph.D.), Head of Department at the School of Physical Education of MNUE and an international judge, served as a judge at the championships. G. Bolortulga, a faculty member of the School of Physical Education, worked as a coach of the Mongolian national team.

According to the preliminary registration information published by World Gymnastics, Mongolia entered athletes in a total of nine events across the Youth and Junior categories.

The participation of MNUE faculty members and athletes at this major international competition demonstrates the University’s contribution to the development of aerobic gymnastics in Mongolia. It also provides young athletes with valuable opportunities to gain international competitive experience, strengthen their professional skills, and represent Mongolia on the world stage.

Following the Youth and Junior competitions, Pamplona will also host the 19th FIG Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships for senior athletes from 11 to 13 September 2026 at Navarra Arena.

The Mongolian National University of Education extends its congratulations to the athletes, coach, and judge who proudly represented Mongolia and MNUE at this prestigious international competition and wishes them continued success in their future endeavors.
