MONGOLIAN FOOTBALL FEDERATION AND MSUE SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION TO JOINTLY TRAIN FOOTBALL COACHES AND MANAGERS

The Mongolian Football Federation (MFF) and the School of Physical Education of the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE) have signed a cooperation agreement, marking the beginning of a long-term partnership aimed at developing football in Mongolia and strengthening the country’s professional human resources in the sport.

Under the four-year agreement, the School of Physical Education at MNUE will launch a Bachelor’s Degree Program in Football Coaching starting from the 2026–2027 academic year. The full-time program will admit students every two years and provide four years of education to prepare qualified football coaches and managers.

The program is designed to support football associations, clubs, and teams across Mongolia by producing professional specialists, promoting grassroots football among children and young people, and ensuring the sustainable development of qualified coaching personnel.

The MFF will provide both policy and material support for the program, including football equipment, training materials, and sports apparel. In addition, students will have free access to futsal facilities and opportunities to participate in MFF’s “D” and “C” coaching license courses. Outstanding students will also be eligible for scholarships sponsored by the federation.

Furthermore, the MFF will work with football associations and clubs in both Ulaanbaatar and the provinces to facilitate employment opportunities for graduates. The federation will also support talented youth players and members of the national youth teams who wish to pursue studies in coaching and sports management.

Meanwhile, the School of Physical Education at MNUE will ensure the quality implementation of the curriculum by providing classrooms, training facilities, dormitory accommodation for students from rural areas, library resources, and learning materials. The university will also offer tuition discounts and opportunities to participate in scholarship programs for students demonstrating academic excellence.

This partnership is expected to make a significant contribution to strengthening Mongolia’s football workforce, supplying clubs and teams nationwide with qualified coaches and managers, and elevating the overall development of football in the country.
